But in August 2022, prices were very high and Budget/Avis had the best deal. Note…I booked this rental via Budget, but Budget and Avis are one in the same and share fleet/employees at Boston Logan. * 1:45pm: Left with a Camry Fellow traveler, please avoid Avis Logan at all cost Before I said a thing, agent said “We don’t have a car that can make you happy.” I just lost it, “What the F? This place is a complete chaos” Agent said, “We will be happy to hire you to make this place better.” After a day of flying, I am too tired to make a scene I just want to get to my room. I walked out to the garage, guess what, the parking spot is empty! * 1:30am: Walked back to Avis rental counter. Agent said they can’t promise cargo cover on each and every car. Guess what, I walked out to the garage, it has not cargo cover * 1:15am: Walked back to Avis rental counter. No where on their website said that! He gave me a Toyota 4runner ensure me that it has a cargo cover. * 12:15am: Arrive in Logan airport * 12:30am: Went to Avis prefer digital board in garage and surprisingly did not find my name on it * Walk back to Avis rental counter which by now have a long line of people ahead of me * 1am: Agent said prefer desk close at midnight.
